Mission Statement
1.To promote evidence–based clinical practices, research, education, and public policy, related to healthcare of transgender & gender-diverse (TGD) adults and adolescents from Mexico, Central & South America, and Caribbean nations/territories
2.To contribute to the development and publishing of scientific evidence-based care guidelines for people of Latin America and the Caribbean
3.To foster and support the development of knowledge and skills of Latin American & Caribbean TGD healthcare providers via education, cross-national collaboration, and collaboration with local organizations and with WPATH
4.To support subcommittees within LACPATH focused upon the various domains integral to TGD healthcare, including mental healthcare, endocrinology and primary care, gender-affirming surgery, sexual medicine, nursing & social work, public-policy, and medical ethics committees
